Best tunes in Ibiza clubs from June to July

The hottest tracks from the second month of the season.

With very few opening parties left to commence, we can agree that the 2019 summer season is very much in full swing.

Having attended parties on an almost daily basis, the Ibiza Spotlight clubbing team and I have picked out a number of top tracks along the way - with a few season favourites thrown in for good measure. Check it out!

YSL | Lil Yatchy (The Martinez Brothers Remix) | DC10 | The Martinez Brothers

First up is the undeniable stomper delivered to us straight from the DC10 duo The Martinez Brothers. Released back in January of this year, the Lil Yatchy remix has gone from strength to strength and has been played all over the island by the likes of Mason Collective at Cuckoo Land and the brothers themselves at their own event Cuttin Headz.

Fisher | You Little Beauty | HEART | Bob Sinclar

After shooting into the limelight last season, Fisher has certainly shown no signs of slowing down. His long-awaited release of the hit You Little Beauty finally arrived on 10 May. Since then, the track has been in a set list of almost every tech-house party so far. Played by Bob Sinclar at his Electrico Romantico at HEART, it is evident that this track is here to stay.

Andrea Oliva | My Way | Ushuaïa | Andrea Oliva

Keeping things consistent for almost a decade is the Swiss DJ and producer Andrea Oliva. Gifting clubbers with tech-house wonder My Way at his primary party ANTS, Oliva has once again proven that he provides nothing but absolute dance floor dynamite. Check out The Martinez Brother remix for a more bass-full rendition.

S.A.M | Fury's Laughter | Octan | Steve Lawler

This energetic little track has surely wormed its way into every tech-house DJ's playlists this year and has been popping up all over the island for the last month. From BODYWORKS to Warriors, the underground move-maker has done the rounds due to its unique, buoyant qualities.

Adam Beyer, Layton Giordani, Green Velvet | Space Date (Pleasurecraft Remix) | Cova Santa | Magdalena

The original version of this techno godsend has been a go-to for DJs since its release in 2018. Lucky for us ravers, a smashing re-edit is back this season and is being played everywhere from Circoloco at DC10 to Shadows at Cova Santa. Check it out.

Kevin De Vries | Meraki | Pacha | Solomun

Berlin-born Kevin De Vries has slowly emerged as one of Berlin's top newcomers since his track Eternity appeared on Adam Beyer's Drumcode label in 2016. Sven Väth, Richie Hawtin, Tale Of Us and even Solomun have also recognised De Vries as an up-and-coming producer. The tune has rocked parties such as Dixon's Transmoderna and Solomun +1 throughout the season so far.

Ben Hemsley | Caress | Privilege | Micheal Bibi

For a bop and sing-a-long, look no further. This tune has been another popular one among tech-house parties such as BODYWORKS and Solid Grooves and we can see why. A touch of vocals is sometimes what you need and this track's hint of DJ Flavour's Your Caress (All I Need) may just be what got it to Beatport's #1 this month.

Dele Sosimi Afrobeat Orchestra | Too Much Information (Laolu Remix) Edit | Hï Ibiza | Black Coffee

Though released back in 2015, this track has still managed to keep its place in many DJs' set-lists this season. The emotion-filled tune has been a staple piece of almost every melodic party I've been to this year. Best bet at hearing it live is Black Coffee on Saturdays at Hï Ibiza. The DJ and producer is known to have favoured and played it all around the globe for a whopping three years.

Pete Lazonby | Sacred Cycles (Adam Beyer, Bart Skils & Layton Giordani Renaissance Remix) | Amnesia | Adam Beyer

Over the last few weeks, this May release has graced our ears at parties like Afterlife and Cocoon. The Adam Beyer remix has once again proven the techno king's unmatchable talent and is hopefully here to stay for the upcoming months.

Cassius | The Sound Of Violence (Narcotic Thrust Full Club Mix) | Ushuaïa | Andrea Oliva

Probably the most notable track flying around this summer is that of Cassius's The Sound Of Violence (Narcotic Thrust Full Club Mix). After the passing of Cassius member Philippe Zdar, fellow DJs and producers have been paying tribute with what will always be a truly beautiful classic. Andrea Oliva has closed his last few ANTS sets with the track in what I can only describe as historic moments.

Like what you heard? Next month we will be back with some more of the summer's most memorable tracks so keep an eye out for another dose of Ibiza's best-played music.

If you can't wait till then be sure to check out our party-curated playlists on Spotify.
