Sunday Social walk - Aguas Blancas into the hills

Discover the biggest and oldest oak tree in the whole of Spain.

Dove: Aguas Blancas beach (Aigües Blanques)

Starting at the lovely beach of Aguas Blancas Gato will take you into the little-walked hills behind, through thick forest and along country lanes. You pass some friendly donkeys (bring a treat for them if you like), walk paths only used by hunters and get amazing views from an ancient threshing circle as far as Mallorca. You also pass what is said to be the biggest and oldest oak tree in the whole of Spain, being 3000 years old!

Bring a picnic lunch which will be eaten from a lovely view point

DATE & TIME: Sunday 26th November - 11.00h
MEETING POINT: Aguas Blancas, on the beach at the bottom of the concrete road
RATING: Medium. 10km´s, a steep uphill part with loose stones underfoot for about 20 minutes, then downhill all the way back to the beach.
DONATION: The walks are by donation (suggested €10 per person)
You don't have to make a reservation for our community walks. You just can show up at the meeting point.
