If you are an avid reader of our club news and reviews (and of course you are !) then you’ll know that two of our favourite clubbing experiences are Cream and We Love Space.
And this week is one of the hottest club weekends in Ibiza for both – you only need to look at the dj line up for We Love Space to see what’s in store over at Space this Sunday.
However, this week
really belongs to Cream Ibiza, who in addition to the regular Thursday night affair, will also be hosting the BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix live at Amnesia on Saturday
11 August.
So, two Cream parties in one week to look forward to !
Great ! But who will we be waving our hands at and stomping our feet to on the dancefloor ?
Well, last year’s Radio 1 special at Cream saw the likes of Mylo and Groove Armada, and was one of the parties of the summer, so we’ve naturally got high expectations.
And not to be disappointed – and we hate it when that happens – one look at the line-up this Saturday confirms our hopes of another blinding ‘fiesta’.
Sasha, Eddie Halliwell, Steve Angello (pictured above), Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Gareth Wyn make up the heavyweight line-up all ready to battle it out in the main room together.
Meanwhile, if you’re
brave enough to leave the main room, Annie Mac hosts the terrace, bringing you the eclectic sounds provided by Simian Mobile Disco, Touché,
Mar T and of course, Annie herself.
Add the bonus of your cheers and whoop-whoops all being captured live for Radio 1’s Essential Mix and you’ve got the makings of something quite amazing.
Many Cream fanatics will also be heading down to Amnesia on the Thursday for the usual blockbuster affair.
And it’s a strong line-up once again, where Paul van Dyk, Marco V, D Ramirez, Tocadisco and Cassette Jam (pictured below - watch these guys !) will be in charge of the party antics.
Of course, money permitting, most Cream fanatics would choose to go to both.
Having done this last year and had one of the best weeks of our lives, we can’t blame them !
