This Saturday 8th August Ibiza will dress up for the celebration of one of its more important parties of the year, the Saint Ciriac day, putting an end to its “Festes de la Terra” week with beautiful fireworks thrown over Dalt Vila sky. It is a day when Ibicencos cheer the Catalans' conquer of the island in the XIII century and for many years has been a proper hippie party to commemorate the white isle as it deserves.
So it is obvious that the mythic and hippy spirit party, Flower Power, wants to participate in the special day as they did last summer so successfully. One year on, Pacha’s party packs its suitcases and moves to its sister-hotel, Destino, for a night sure to be full of love, happiness and flowers. The event will run from 6pm until midnight, dancing to the best pop-rock goldies of the last fifty decades in the stylish open-air area of the beautiful venue.
But the best part is, because of the location of the cherry’s improvised house, the views of Dalt Vila sky with the colourful fireworks are something to remember. A special night you shouldn’t miss if you are going to be around and one of the perfect times to check Flower Power in a bigger place developing all its amazing stage production.
