In the past we've highlighted the difficulty in trying to attract new tourists to this beautiful island because of the unfortunate and totally incorrect image that people have of it.
There's currently a big marketing campaign called 'Ibiza, all islands in one' underway to demonstrate that the island has many more attractions than its famous party scene. New figures just released suggest that once people see how Ibiza really is, then they come back again and again. Apparently no less than 65% of visitors to the island return here twice, or more times. This is one of the highest rates of 'fidelity' in all Spain, and many resorts on the other Costas would love to have this high level of return visitors. Now all we need to do is get people here for their first time!
