Last week saw one of the most important travel trade fairs - Fitur - take place in Madrid. Obviously as Ibiza's economy is massively reliant on tourism from both Spain and abroad it was vitally important to make a good impression.
To this end the Hotel Palace in the capital city played host to a huge star-studded Gala titled 'The Night of Ibiza and Formentera,' where over 500 politicians, businessmen, tourist ambassadors and stars were present.
Paula Vázquez led the proceedings whose main feature was the promotional video of the islands and a fashion show by the Ad Lib fashion consortium. Celebs featured in and watching the show included footballer Guti, singer Marta Sánchez, Actor Carles Sans and models Laura Sánchez and Estefanía Luyck.
Let's hope that these huge celebrities in Spain make a huge impression on the Spanish tourism to the island.
