Space reveal more Opening Party artists

A further eleven artists added to the lineup, joining the Chemical Brothers.

We use the above image a fair bit when referencing the the Space Opening or Closing Fiesta's. We do this because this is a sight - not literally these same girls, sorry guys - you will see only twice a year each year on the island. People raving outside in the daylight on the Space car park with several thousand other revellers. For the clubs to operate in todays stricter and more controlled clubbing environment they have had to change and for Space, that has meant the loss of the truly outdoor parties under the sun.

So, it is nice to get back to that feeling, whether you were on the island back in those days or not, by getting down to Space from midday on Sunday 25th May and making full use of the extended opening hours at the club and the all but guaranteed sunshine you will find on the carp park-cum-dancefloor.

Until now, the only artists announced for the Space Opening Fiesta was a Chemical Brothers DJ set - which was a good thing on account of their epic set at the previous years opening party in the Discoteca.

Joining the Chems we now have a further eleven artists added to the bill - James Zabiela, Gelab, Camilo Franco, Javi Bora, Jon Rundell, Danny Marquez, Charlie Hedges, Jonathan Ulysses, Harvey McKay and Rafha Madrid.

Zabiela has been one of, if not our favourite DJ of the last few years and we haven't been quiet about it. You'll have found him at We Love on Sundays in previous years and we'd be surprised if that wasn't the case again in 2014. Jon Rundell runs the Intec record label and is synonymous with Carl Cox and his Revolution parties. Harvey McKay has been on the house and techno scene for a good while now, heavily supported through Slam and their label Soma, based in Scotland.

The Spanish contingent is well represented, showing that Space is holding true to its roots and supporting the already impressive but ever expanding roaster of talented Spanish DJs on the scene at the moment. We have the EDM wonderkid Galeb, Space residents Danny Marquez and Camilo Franco, rising star Javi Bora and the Barcelona born Rafha Madrid.

Last up we have the long serving Ibiza resident Jonathan Ulysses and a Carl Cox favourite in Charlie Hedges.

Tickets are on sale now for 60€.
