Children's Christmas party this Sunday at Pacha!

Clowns, dancers, magicians, music, fun and games for the whole family this Sunday at Pacha. And all to raise funds for local disabled charity APNEEF.

The association for people with special needs of Ibiza and Formentera (APNEEF) get ready to celebrate their annual solidarity Christmas party, this Sunday December 21st at Pacha.

Working in collaboration with the Platform for Social Health (Plataforma Sociosanitaria), a spokesperson from APNEEF praised “The generosity of the Pacha Group, without whose support this event would not be able raise the much-needed funds it raises each year.” The spokesperson continued, adding the organisation’s gratitude to the “dozens of Balearic businesses who collaborate with gifts and donations to ensure the party is a success.”

APNEEF went on on commend the “artists and professionals that put colour and music” into this family friendly charity event, starting at 5pm all the way through until 10pm. Entrance is just €5 on the door, the proceeds of which go to APNEEF.

You can expect performances from a whole range of artists including dancers, circus performers, clowns and more. Just some of the shows lined up include Albert the magician, percussion by Tutiplén, Piruleto, Eva Clapp Trapeze artist, Clownidoscopio, the Payaso Chocolate Carnavales, (the Chocolate Clown Carnival) Passion Dance, Paso a Paso (Step by Step), Capricorn, Foc i Fum (Fire and Smoke), Tuti Alcazar y Party Planet. And if that wasn’t enough to get you blocking out the entire evening, there will also be a tombola stall with hundreds of fab gifts to be won, face-painting workshops and cake-stalls. The charity are particularly pleased to present too their new 2015 ‘solidarity calendar’ beautifully designed in collaboration with Pacha, which you can also buy on the night to support this very worthy cause.

APNEEF have been able to improve the development of many disabled children, with a range physical, mental, sensory or cognitive difficulties with the proceeds of these annual fund-raising events. This Christmas party at Pacha aims as always, to raise more funds which in the past have been used to cover the cost of a new wheelchair, special audio equipment to help with workshops and greater investment into valuable therapeutic treatments.

The association intends to use any funds raised by this year’s event for essential professional training for staff, with specific courses which extend to the families of those receiving support and to optimize sensory integration for autistic children. They also hope to invest in materials for use in free time activities including new therapeutic technologies.

Huge kudos to Pacha for its community spirit. We at Spotlight positively encourage you to head down to this iconic Ibiza club on Sunday with the whole family for what sounds set to be a fabulous, fun-filled Christmas evening out.
