Hï Sundays to kick off season this Sunday

Ushuaïa's glitzy new venue is bringing some of dance music's most prominent artists every week at Hï Sundays.

With the month of July right around the corner, the season is really charging on with the remainder of the opening parties occurring within the next week or so. One of these is Hï Sundays atIbiza.

The party kicks off its season this Sunday 2 July at Ushuaïa Entertainment's newest venue. The line-up for the season boasts some of the heaviest hitters from today's electronic dance music scene, as well those names who are quickly rising to the top.

For the opening party this Sunday, it will be Size Records head honcho Steve Angello, who will be headlining the massive Theatre room at Hï. The former Swedish House Mafia member is known for his hard-hitting electrifying sets that include a mixture of uplifting progressive house, gritty electro, banging tribal and more in between.

As diverse as his sets are though, they are always cohesive as Angello mixes with deftness, seamlessly transitioning from one track to the next. The Swede's club sets are always special as he is able to read and feed off the energy of the crowd he is playing to. If you think this is going to be like one of his festival sets, think again.

Playing alongside Angello is future house superstar Oliver Heldens. The young 22-year old's career has been on a roll since he broke out in 2014, and he clearly isn't slowing down anytime soon. Expect to hear the Heldeep Records boss to play some striking future house that will reverberate throughout the theatre room. And if you are really lucky, you might even catch him do his signature shuffle on stage.

Dutch DJ Don Diablo is also set to play the theatre with Angello and Heldens, giving the clubbers another house heavyweight. Diablo's career has truly kicked off and skyrocketed within the last two years, as he seems to have discovered his talent in making groovy uplifting house music. The sets of this Beatport #1 Future House Artist of the Year are ones that will get you moving from start to finish, putting you into a rhythm of 126 bpm goodness.

Fellow Dutchman Sam Feldt will also play in the Theatre and should be expected to open for the other three. Known for his melodic and soothing tunes, Feldt will be a great way to warm up for the other artists as his tropical vibes will remind you that you have finally made it to Ibiza.

The Club room is to be headlined by Ibiza's own Mambo Brothers. You can expect them to play a set filled with a wide array of different sub-house genres. Colombian DJ and fellow Ibiza resident Camilo Franco is also set to play the Club room, so expect to hear some tech house that night as well.

Hï Sundays are setting itself up to be one of hottest parties on the White Isle for Sundays to come. You definitely won't want to miss this epic opening.
