El coronel no tiene quien le escriba, or "No one writes to the colonel" is a renowned novel by Nobel-awarded author Gabriel García Márquez.
No need to read the book since it's being performed on the Ibizan stage by famous Spanish actor Imanol Arias in the title role. Undoubtedly, a February highlight.
The story follows a retired colonel awaiting the pension entitlement letter that never arrives. Having been a recognised and powerful figure in the past, the colonel is now left to sink into oblivion.
You've got only two chances to see it: Saturday 15 February (21:00) and Sunday 16 February (20:00) in the Can Ventosa Cultural Centre.
