A 21-year-old British tourist lost his life this week only hours after arriving on the island.
Police are piecing together events leading up to the man's fatal fall from a third floor balcony in a block of apartments in San Antonio.
It appears that he had consumed alcohol and ecstasy, and had previously seen other youths jumping from balconies into the swimming pool. His attempt to mimic them went tragically wrong when he missed the pool and hit the floor, suffering fatal head injuries.
