Manumission promoter Andy McKay believes Ibiza could become the summer home of rock music. This vision has been further realised by the transformation of their San An base Bar M from beachside boozer to live music venue in less than a season.

The entertainingly-coiffured New Yorkers put on a tremendous show that won over not only their hardcore supporters at the front but also the normally jaded occupants of the VIP who crowded the railings of the upstairs terrace for the entire show.

Banter about cross training and duck hunting was interspersed with three-minute blasts of speedy yet melodic tunes. Last of the night was the best known - 'The Great Escape' - which duly inspired frenzied moshing.
