All eyes on Eden for another stomping season

As the summer seasons advance, so does the image of San Antonio superclub, Eden - the youngest of the Ibiza superclubs.

And although San Antonio is often considered the poor relation when it comes to the caliber of club nights on offer, Eden is doing a great job in silencing the critics and moving forward,  bringing some excellent parties to the San Antonio crowd.

Even if you're not a devout clubber, chances are you have heard of Dusted (London), Garlands (Liverpool) and the legendary Gatecrasher (Sheffield). For those who prefer their clubbing a little smoother, then the urban grooves of Twice as Nice on Thursdays may be your flavour.

And of course, let's not forget the hi-speed juggernaut that is Judgement Sundays - hosted by the one and only Judge Jules.

Dusted, now in it's third season at Eden, bring you the best of electro-tech-house every Monday night featuring Oliver Lang, Kate Lawler (of Big Brother fame), Tim Sheridan, rising starlets Hoxton Whores and London stalwart, Norman Jay. ElectricSex once again host the back room antics.

Garlands have been in Ibiza long enough to know how to throw a party - and over the years their parties have been notorious. On Wednesdays, expect fancy dress (this year's theme is Icons), wild boat parties and a funky house soundtrack. Always a favourite with the workers - well, what do they know about parties in Ibiza !

Gatecrasher Ibiza Live was one of the blazing success stories of 2006 and the UK superbrand now seems to have found it's perfect partner in Eden. Every Tuesday, Dave Pearce plays the faithful mistress, dishing out his own collection of 'Dance Athems' to a responsive - and sweaty - crowd.

Trance classic after trance classic, 2007 should see more of the same with JFK, Agnelli & Nelson, Thrillseekers and Riley & Durrant appearing throughout the season.

However, the big hitter for Eden continues to be Judgement Sunday, the Judge Jules hard house/trance fest that continues to outperform the rest.

In addition to the Judge stamping his own expressive style on proceedings, he's joined by a champion line-up of hard-hitting topliners, including Marco V, Matt Hardwick, Lisa Lashes, Sander van Doorn and people's champion, Eddie Halliwell.

However, not wanting to rest on their laurels - the Judgement Sunday honchos, in association with Rogue Indie, have transformed the back room into a somewhat rockier affair for 2007.

Funky house and breaks will still be on the agenda of course, with the Trophy Twins, Seamus Haji and Krafy Kuts all up for some back room action. But guest dj sets from Embrace, Coburn, Bloc Party, Shitdisco, Rakes and The Futureheads should offer an interesting alternative to the main room madness.

So in summary - it's looking good for Eden this year, with a good choice of clubbing options available, no matter where your tastes lie.

Or as our friend Jules might say...tunes more funky than a week old Subway !
