Isn't it great how the Ibiza club opening and closing parties are so close together? It's only September and just three months after they pulled out all the stops for their opening parties, they're doing it all again for the closings! Elsewhere on the island there are three small local festivals which give a taste of life in the villages and small towns of Ibiza when they celebrate. The big days are Jesus on the 8th, San Mateo on the 21st, and San Miguel on the 29th with plenty of music, games, sports and competitions for all. Highlights we know of are

Jesus

Sept 6th 22.30 - Aires Formenterencs
Sept 7th 22.30 – Statuas D Sal
Sept 8th 22.30 – Alma Afrobeat Ensemble and The Blues Mafia Big Band

San Miguel

Sept 23rd 23.00 – Flower Power with Javi Box
Sept 29th 21.30 – Rock with Rels and Projecte X and a surprise spectacular at midnight!

And over in San Antonio there's a Medieval Market held by the harbour with lots of traditional handicrafts on sale from 16th to 18th of the month and in San Jose, they're hosting the Domingo del Arte (photo above) event on the 11th in the church square.
