Set to land at Sankeys from 3 July, esteemed DJ and producer Timo Maas has announced the first wave of artists joining him for his party project IDOL. Get ready for this. Some legends are set to take over the Playa d'en Bossa raver haunt every Tuesday until 28 August.
For the Ibiza season, Maas is inviting a remarkable array of electronic artists to join him over summer. Each week will see some of the finest international DJs take clubbers on a captivating dance music journey.
Creating an immersive soundtrack for this unique clubbing experience will be some truly impressive names. Those decks will see DJs such as the legendary DJ Hell, the innovative Matthew Herbert, Mute Records founder Daniel Miller, long-term collaborator DJ Martin Buttrich, DJ and producer Roman Flügel, German duo Tiefschwarz, the enchanting Sebastian Mullaert (live) and Florentine favourite Alex Neri, the talented Qubiko, the multi-faceted Basti Grub, the versatile King Joshua, Italian sensation Diego Donati and many others.
Combine this with stunning dancing performances, giant statues, futuristic decor and you have a party set to transport you to another musical and visual dimension. Creating a space for music worship, with a line-up such as this one, IDOL will most likely be bringing avid ravers week after week to the underground dance floor.
