Staff picks: Top five DJ sets to catch on Ibiza in September picked by Luke

His first taste of September has revealed some choice bookings to pore over.

Closing party season is right around the corner and, I have to say, I'm rather looking forward to catching a taste of it. Particularly, as I haven't yet experienced the island's slightly cooler temperatures. It's going to be all new to me.

The season is by no means over. In fact, it’s gearing up for the final charge before the winter wind down. With August firmly in the rear-view mirror, I've researched what's coming up and picked out a few bookings that have taken my fancy.

Young Marco | Club Knuckles | Hï Ibiza

Friday 4 September

Young Marco's set in Hï Ibiza's Club Room last year was one of my club highlights of 2025. John Summit was playing in The Theatre, so with Young Marco also closing, the room did empty out towards the end, but the vibes never dipped.

Musically, it was faultless. He ended on Belfast by Orbital and sent me and the rest of the stragglers home very happy indeed. He's back next month, again alongside Ewan McVicar, but this time for the Scot's own Club Knuckles. Can lightning strike twice?

Hannah Laing | A State of Trance | [UNVRS]

Monday 7 September

After guesting for Tiësto, Scottish Hard Dance legend and Doof Queen Hannah Laing is back for another stint at [UNVRS]. She grabs the bull by the horns alongside Armin van Buuren at the opening of his A State of Trance party.

If you haven’t had the opportunity to catch her before, she’s one of those DJs who knows how to get a room moving, bringing plenty of energy to the dancefloor. A blend of Trance and Techno, her sets are punchy, ravey and high-energy. If fast and furious is your style, this is a no-brainer.

Arielle Free | Sam Divine presents 555 Ibiza | Cova Santa

Wednesday 16 September

With a schedule as jam-packed as hers, it’s tough to keep up with Arielle Free.

Between touring the globe and presenting for BBC Radio 1, she's certainly not the easiest DJ to pin down. That said, if you happen to catch her behind the decks, you won't be disappointed. Invited along for Sam Divine's 555 Cova Santa takeover, Arielle is known for her ability to move between feel-good and high-energy House, alongside disco-laced grooves, and bigger club cuts.

She’ll be bringing her expertise to one of Ibiza’s most stunning outdoor venues.

Chaos In the CBD | Pikes Presents | 528 Ibiza

Tuesday 29 September

Kiwi brother duo Chaos In the CBD are heading to 528 Ibiza to take over the on-site after party for Pikes Presents. If you’ve ever caught these guys before, you’ll know you’re in for a treat, with everything from Deep House, Hip-Hop, Breakbeat, to instrumental Jazz cuts.

Louis and Ben have nailed the art of blending between genres without it ever feeling abrupt or out of place, You never quite know what’s coming next. They've got eclectic taste, for sure. Can we have a cheeky rinse of Marlboro Sounds, please?

I have no doubt they’ll be rinsing a few of their faves from last year’s album, A Deeper Life.

HAAi | Mau P presents Baddest Behaviour | Pacha

Wednesday 30 September

The Aussie-born, London-based selector HAAi is heading back to Ibiza, bringing her renowned blend of House, Techno and Breakbeat to the famous red room of Pacha for Mau P’s Baddest Behaviour.

Having spent a number of years touring Europe, HAAi has built her reputation for taking clubbers on an unpredictable journey, moving between slick grooves, ravey breaks and chunky club sounds. I suspect she’ll be teasing a few tracks from her upcoming album, Digitise, too.

Paired with Pacha's mighty sound system and immersive lighting rig, HAAi at Baddest Behaviour is where I'd choose to be.
