Together's second phase of artists 2016

More bass and house selectors take pole position at Together.

Together is gathering some serious speed into season 2016 with its second phase of artists now in circulation. Joining its main residents every Tuesday at Amnesia from 7th June to 20th September is a refreshing mix of in-demand groundbreakers and foreseen superstars.

Taking this announcement one dancefloor at a time, we’ll start in the main room, where bass dominates uninterrupted. Andy C, a British force whose brutish brand of bass has pinned him to the pioneer board, is no stranger to the Together pack. He’s secured four dates after showcasing his technical genius and electrifying form at a handful of gigs last year. Second week into its season, on 14th June, is the turn of London based Sub Focus. He’s dismantled Amnesia’s dancefloors on many an occasion and in 2016 and he’s returning to the San Rafael superclub for his 5th consecutive residency. Drum & bass duo Sigma are also making a welcome return after four stellar sets at last season’s Together parties. Debut studio album “Life” released, we’d suggest making a grab for it to have a taste of what’s to come in their July and August dates. Netsky took drum & bass by storm in 2008 and with his indestructible ambition, we’d expect mega performances from an artist now at his peak. Last but by no means least, is Mark Wilkinson who, in the past 18 months, has risen through the ranks at a meteoric rate with sell out shows and festival appearances across the world. He knows the magic formula for high energy productions and causing a stir amongst crowds and he’ll be doing just that for thousands of clubbers in his four date residency.

Onto the infamous terrace, where sunset breaks and brings its crowd into a new day and a new party. Joining main residents Gorgon City and Hannah Wants for the opening party on the 7th is British trio Disciples. It’s their debut residency for Together and after witnessing them smashing the Together's opening and Cream’s closing last year, we'd say they’re well-prepared for their six dates that includes the closing. From fresh on the scene movers, to the veteran groovers with Detroit legend MK. He created manic scenes at 2015’s Together opening with a remix of Lana Del Rey, and he’s back to spend another summer at Amnesia. Childhood friends Amine Edge & Dance made moves on the island last year with their label Cuff holding down a residency at Sankeys. Expect to wrap your ears round blended house and hip-hop with an injection of bass at Amnesia with four installations from the pair. From beaneath the beaked mask, the ever enigmatic creature Claptone has been busy feathering a slew of productions and his debut album Charmer. It’s a unique time to experience the mythical being himself, in front of your own eyes, across three sessions beginning 28th June. His productions have been on rotation with the likes of Nic Fanciulli, Heidi and DJ Sneak, and so it’s a fantastic coup to introduce Oliver Dollar and his house sound to the terrace on 26th July and 13th September. Considered a mainstay of UK club culture, Shadow Child has been pushing house music in Britain and worldwide for over a decade. His flavour of early rave, house and drum & bass will be welcomed on four deadly occasions.

This announcement has no doubt been the clincher for some and as early bird tickets are already on sale selling thick and fast, study Together's calendar with the lastest additions and act fast.
